"Daddy, you do me a favor."
"It was simply a combine."
"Mom, check out that.... (tractor, truck, car, etc)!"
"It's up to you, it doesn't matter."
Billy: "Alex your so smart, where did you get your smarts from?" Alex: "From Target."
"Just one show!"
"Don't do that!" (As he points......)
"What do you think of that....?"

What a week!
We had quite a busy week... I think just about everyday we had something going on! Rhoslyn was in for an upper GI on Wednesday for her reflux. Everything looks good (in the terms of nothing being wrong internally) but we are trying a new medication for the reflux. It has only been a few days but it seems to be doing the trick!
This was such a long day for us. She couldn't eat anything after midnight and didn't have her procedure done until almost 10 in the morning! Alex also had an appt. in the afternoon... lucky for us, Alex was able to play with his friend Jace for most of the day. We even went over to Jace's house for dinner and cake for his birthday on Thursday. How exactly do you explain to a two year old that the presents are not for them?! Needless to say we left with Alex screaming and crying! Thank you Alexander family for a wonderful night and some amazing food!!

Billy was wonderful enough to let me have an entire afternoon and evening to myself. I got my hair done at noon on Saturday and headed to Appleton for some much needed alone time. What a wonderful husband I have! (THANKS HUN!)
I also got another "Cool Mom" moment by filling up a tub with dried beans for Alex to play with!
(And yes, he is wearing his snow boots with a diaper on!)

Oatmeal fun!
A construction site made out of OATMEAL! He thought this was the coolest idea mom has ever come up with!
I am not kidding when I say that he played in the kitchen with this oatmeal for HOURS!
The oatmeal of course ended up on the floor and then he thought it was a great idea to play with the trucks and tractors on the floor too!

Time flies!
Our little girl is already two months old! She weighed in at 11 lbs. 10 oz. and 23 inches long. She has reflux just like her big brother did... not so much fun for mom and dad! Her hair is getting longer, she smiles all of the time, and loves to coo! She loves her rainforest mobile in her crib and talks to her "friends" (the rainforest animals). She is looking more and more like Alex everyday!
Alex is such a wonderful big brother. He always wants Rhoslyn to read books with us before bed time. He loves to go up to her and give her kisses! He also loves laying next to her on the floor. We adore watching them interact with each other. He really loves his sister and it is such an amazing sight. Now... I am sure when she starts to take his toys that will be a whoooooooooole different story! Alex is starting to become more independent and loves to role play with his toys. It is so much fun listening to him talk with his toys. And of course we are getting closer to three so he wants to do everything by himself (put his own bib on, sit at the table on a regular chair instead of a booster, put his own sleeves up and down, put his food at the table, open his tooth paste... and the list goes on)!
Billy is in search for a new job and has found some pretty potential positions. We are hoping something pans out for him. I on the other hand am enjoying life as a stay at home mom more and more everyday! We have met some new friends and are enjoying playdates during the week with them.
