Alex has a great birthday today. Daddy took the day off and we spent our morning opening presents, playing with new toys... and then headed over to the mall to play at Jump On It. We were there for three hours and I bet we could have stayed longer. He had a blast and mom and dad got right in there and jumped along with him.
Later in the afternoon Billy took Alex to pick out whatever cupcakes he wanted. We did this last year and he really enjoyed it. I am sure it will be a yearly tradition. Well... they come home with an ice cream cake instead that Alex just HAD to have! It was something I would pick for my own birthday! Alex also made Billy buy a candle (even though we had some at home). They picked out the #3 (which took some convincing because Alex wanted to be four instead of three). As requested mom made buttered noodles with Parmesan (I know how boring, right?) and then we sang Happy Birthday and ate CAKE!
I asked Alex a few questions and here are his answers being a big three year old now!
Favorite Lunch: Peanut butter and honey sandwich
Favorite Snack: Chocolate bunnies (Annie's brand)
Favorite Color: Brown (but this tends to change on a daily basis)
Favorite "Cars" Car: Mater
Favorite thing to wear: Pajama's
Favorite song: Old time rock and roll
Favorite thing to play with outside: "Lawn mower with lever."
What Alex likes about his sister: Blowing raspberries with her.
What Alex likes about mom and dad: Playing with them.
Favorite Ice cream: Chocolate (that's my boy!)
Happy Birthday Alex, We love you!
