Oh Alex...

Today I gave the kids each a pack of sandwich crackers.  Alex chose peanut butter.  He ate one, then looked at me and said... "Mom, if I break these in half I will then have six crackers."  He then proceded to twist the crackers in half.  Puting them down and counting them by two until he had six.  Then he said, "see, I have six crackers now."

Wow.

Memorial Weekend

We had such a wonderful weekend!  It was so great that Billy had a three day weekend after being gone in Texas.

We went to Chuckee Cheese, the book store, the beach, and just spent time playing at home with the kids.  Alex and Rhoslyn couldn't get enough time with daddy.  They soaked it all up!

We even had a movie night.  Layed out the kids blankets, pillows, some stuffed animals and of course their taggies.  Popped up some popcorn and watched Over the Hedge.  They thought it was a lot of fun.

It was perfect.

First T-ball Practice

Alex had his first t-ball practice tonight and he had an absolute blast!  Since daddy wasn't able to be there Grandma Lori came along to help out.  (Thanks Grammie!)

The first three weeks of t-ball will be practicing and the last three weeks he will have games.

He was smiling from ear to ear the entire time.  He was also a great listener.  He is very excited for daddy to help him next week!

Go Alex!

Working on catching and throwing.

Learning the bases and which way to run.

Warming up and stretching before.

And probably his favorite part... hitting the ball off of the T!

To Daddy, Love Rhoslyn

Dear Daddy,

I am trying really hard to be a good girl for mom while you are gone.  Sometimes it's just so hard though!  I was kind of sassy today and mom stuck me on time out for hitting Alex.  I didn't mean to... but sometimes he just makes me so mad!  In fact, I have been hitting and pushing him a lot today.  I get mad when he doesn't give me my space, or when he plays with my toys.... especially my doll stroller.

But don't worry daddy.... when it was time to go to bed mom told me to say goodnight to my brother and I gave him a big hug.  Then he gave me a kiss and said goodnight.  We can't wait for you to get home!

I love you daddy!  Goodnight.

Goodnight, sleep tight.

I snapped these photos last night while they were sleeping.  I promise that I didn't turn the light on!  That is just how bright the flash was.  Surprisingly they didn't wake up.

Alex looks just like daddy.

And this has nothing to do with sleeping....

This is what I found after I got out of the shower this morning.  Thank you Rhoslyn! =)

"Mom, didn't you know that little people go in the strainer?!  Not in my toy bin, silly!"

One of Rhoslyn's many places that I find toys in...

Spash Pad!

The splash pads are now open in Green Bay and I can't believe we didn't check them out last summer!

This was our first time, and Alex had so much fun.

Rhoslyn... well, she wasn't too fond of the cold water.  She did have fun running around though and attempting to get close enough to get a tiny (and I mean tiny) bit wet.

Let's just say that by the time we left Alex's lips were turning purple!
